Hop-A-Jet Welcomes Aviation Industry Veteran Terry Flynn
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 2026 — Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter today announced the addition of aviation industry veteran Terry Flynn to its team, bringing more than four decades of experience in aircraft management, charter services, and aviation business development.
Flynn joins Hop-A-Jet following senior roles across the business aviation industry, including positions with Jet Support Services (JSSI), Executive Jet Management (NetJets), Wheels Up / Gama Aviation, and ATS Aviation Services. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with aircraft owners and operators on aircraft management strategy, charter operations, and aviation maintenance and refurbishment programs.
Flynn said the decision to join Hop-A-Jet came after conversations with colleagues across the industry.
“When I decided to make a career change, I spoke with a number of friends in the business and several mentioned Hop-A-Jet,” Flynn said. “One in particular, who has worked with the company for years, thought I would be a good fit. He emphasized the company’s culture and the fact that the aircraft owner always comes first when decisions are made.”
Flynn noted that philosophy strongly aligned with his own experience in aviation. “I firmly believe that taking care of the aircraft owner and delivering the highest level of service is the most important responsibility of an aircraft management and charter company,” he said.
At Hop-A-Jet, Flynn will focus on expanding relationships with aircraft owners while supporting the company’s continued growth in aircraft management and charter services. He sees several opportunities ahead for the company as private aviation continues to evolve.
“Expanding the company’s footprint into central and northern Florida presents a strong opportunity,” Flynn said. “I’m also excited about the potential to introduce additional aircraft models that complement the current fleet.”
Looking further ahead, Flynn believes the company is well positioned for broader regional growth. “I believe there will be opportunities for Hop-A-Jet to grow in other parts of the Southeast and potentially into the Mid-Atlantic states,” he said.
The addition comes as Hop-A-Jet approaches a significant milestone. Founded by aviation pioneer Harvey N. The initiative brought together employees and community members with a shared goal: delivering joy, comfort, and a little extra magic to children during the holiday season.
Initiated and led by Hop-A-Jet’s Human Resources Director, Dania Wright, new, unwrapped toys were collected between December 1 and December 18 and successfully delivered to support families and young patients in need. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., October, 2025: Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter announced it has received approval from the U.S. Department of Defense Commercial Airlift Review Board. The approval confirms that Hop-A-Jet, a FAA Part 135 operator, meets DoD oversight criteria for commercial air carriers and is eligible to support defense airlift requirements subject to mission tasking and availability.
The DoD review process evaluates an operator’s safety performance, maintenance and quality systems, crew training programs, operational control, and organizational governance. Approval remains subject to continuing surveillance and compliance with DoD standards.
